There’s a lot to be gained from getting past the first impressions of what you see when you first look at a person living with disabilities and really get to know them. It’s with that goal in mind that the Rare By Design Fashion Show was born.


WE’re being joined by Kendra Gottsleben, the Founder and Executive Director of Rare by Design. Along with her is Tana Zwart a Rare by Design Board Member and Model in the Refocus Exhibit and Levi Sternburg, Co-organizer for Untitled.10

They’re here today to tell us more about what sets Refocus apart — from the physical space to its model biographies and why every aspect of this exhibit has been carefully designed to ensure inclusivity and accommodate the diverse needs of all its visitors.
