Pre-general election campaign finance reports are due to the South Dakota Secretary of State by 5:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24.

LPSD GOVERNOR CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE
The committee supporting Libertarian candidate Tracey Quint has filed its report, showing a total of $901.73 in contributions and $855.52 in expenses. The committee began with a balance of $0 and has an ending balance of $46.21.
The committee supporting Democrat Jamie Smith filed its report Monday afternoon, showing total contributions amounting to $954,624.76, and total expenditures of $809,909.74.
The committee had a beginning balance of $110,268.13, and has an ending balance of $254,983.15.
The report also notes $614.04 worth in donated goods or services.
Gov. Kristi Noem’s committee was the last of the gubernatorial candidate committees to file their report, a mere three minutes before the deadline.
The committee reports $3,118,900.79 in contributions compared to $4,713,540.41 in spending.
The committee began with a balance of $7,762,901.57, and ends with a balance of $6,168,261.95.
The committee also accepted $17,863.60 worth in donated goods and services.
