I was born and raised in South Dakota. I grew up in the small town of Letcher, which is just north of Mitchell.
Letcher is a small town where everyone knows everyone. I waitressed at Buckshot’s in Letcher during high school and after college before I came to KELOLAND Media Group.
I graduated from Mitchell High School. I then received my degree in Atmospheric Science with a minor in Environmental Science at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
I grew up watching KELOLAND-TV at home, so I am still trying to shake off some starstruck feelings about working at KELOLAND.
