From Angela’s award winning GEAR UP investigation, to problems in South Dakota prisons, to exposing what really happened in the building collapse in downtown Sioux Falls long before the federal reports came out, investigative reporting is her passion. Angela says she has been lucky to have her dream job for nearly 30 years at KELOLAND News. There have been a lot of changes in the news business in those last three decades, and Angela has adapted and thrived with new technologies and platforms to deliver high-quality journalism.
In addition to reporting, Angela is co-anchor of KELOLAND News at 5. She holds a master’s degree in communications management and has taught college-level courses in journalism. She has also authored a book. Angela spends most of her free time in the outdoors with her husband, four children and two dogs.
