Look for a nice day today with sunshine and temperatures in the 50s across the east with 60s in central and western SD. Tonight will be mild as clouds increase across our eastern counties…with clear skies for Pierre and Rapid City. Lows overnight will be pretty mild for this time of the year in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Clouds will be around in the morning in the east…but are expected to dissipate during the afternoon with highs in the 60s in the east…70s west of the James River!

The weekend will not be quite as warm…but it will still be above normal in many areas. A few showers will be possible late Sunday into Monday…but don’t worry about heavy rain. Amounts should be .25” or less. Another warming trend is likely by Tuesday and Wednesday.
