A ridge in the jet stream will allow for sunshine and warm temperatures over the next several days. We’ll have temperatures well above average with the possibility of seeing 70 degree readings in western South Dakota on Friday. Eastern KELOLAND will not get THAT warm, but highs in the 60s will be welcome starting on Friday and last through Sunday.
The jet stream dips south again on Monday. This will lead to thicker clouds, cooler air, and a chance for rain (snow mixed in for western SD). With the jet staying south, temperatures will not be as warm next week, but I think dry skies should remain for much of next week.
