The Avera Transplant Institute is celebrating an impressive milestone, having performed its 500th solid organ transplant.  It's a milestone that helped to change one KELOLAND family's life forever.  The Avera Transplant Institute was founded 15 years ago. Since then it's changed lives and given people a second chance.  They've been best friends since they can remember---even born on the same day, 2 years apart.
