211th Engineer Company Activated For Duty
More than 100 South Dakota Army National Guard soldiers packed their bags for a long trip overseas.  The 211th Engineer Company of Madison and De Smet will spend the next year in Afghanistan. The 211th "Sapper" will provide security for NATO forces in Afghanistan. The unit is made up of people from all walks of life, but the goal among them is the same.
