Record University Enrollment In South Dakota

South Dakota's public university system is reporting a record enrollment for the 12th straight year.
The state Board of Regents says total enrollment this fall at the six public universities is up about 2.5 percent from last fall, to 33,779 students.
Board Executive Director and CEO Jack Warner says the numbers bode well for work force and economic development in South Dakota.
South Dakota State, South Dakota, Black Hills State, Dakota State and South Dakota Tech all saw increases in enrollment, ranging from 1.6 percent to 5.6 percent. Northern State saw a decline of about 4.7 percent.
