H1N1 Vaccine Clinic Open To Anyone
December 10, 2009, 4:30 PM
The news keeps getting better when it comes to H1N1. The South Dakota Department of Health says the virus is now "sporadic" which is the lowest level of activity. And now even more of you can line up to get vaccinated.
South Dakota health officials confirmed just 1 case of the H1N1 flu last week. While that may put you at ease, health experts say it's still important to get vaccinated because there could still be a third wave of the flu.
And it's getting easier to get a shot. More than 6,000 doses are available at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
Those in tier 1 and 2 can get the vaccine, but because of a low turnout if you'd like the vaccine and you don't fall under those tiers, you will not be turned away. Doors will be open until 7 p.m.
