Woman Scared Of Couple Arrested For Sex Ring

November 25, 2009, 9:49 PM by Ben Dunsmoor

Woman Scared Of Couple Arrested For Sex Ring
For the first time we're hearing from a woman who says she worked for a Tea couple who have been arrested in an underage prostitution ring.

Twenty-eight-year-old Brandon Thompson, who also was known as 'Kadafi,' and 30 year old Megan Hayes were arrested this week for soliciting underage girls as prostitutes.

The couple lived in a duplex on Brian Street in Tea. Investigators say they would drive girls from their home to the Motel 6 in Sioux Falls. According to court papers that's where the girls would have sex with customers for 300 dollars, and give the Tea couple half of the money.

A 19-year-old woman who lives near Brookings contacted KELOLAND News and only wanted to be identified as "Jennifer." "Jennifer" says she worked for Thompson when she was 18 for about a week in July before she was able to get away.

"I've always wanted to turn him in for what he's doing and stuff. I've been scared though that he knows I live here in Aurora. I've just always been scared that if I did tell he'd be able to find me," "Jennifer" said.

"Jennifer" says she talked with investigators Wednesday who told her there are many girls coming forward now that Thompson and Hayes are behind bars.
