Mourners Gather For Funeral Of Toddler

Mourners have gathered at a western Minnesota church for the funeral of a 14-month-old girl who was killed in an attack on her father at the church. Aundrea Brownlow died last week of a blow to her head from a baseball bat that was aimed at her father, Claude Hankins.
Mourners filing into Thy Kingdom Come World Ministries in Wheaton on Wednesday saw a slideshow of the girl accompanied by Christian rock music.
Fifty-year-old David Collins of Wheaton was charged Tuesday with murder and assault. Authorities say Collins was angry with Hankins over a $20 debt and a washer and dryer the church pastor had given Hankins instead of Collins.
Prosecutors also charged Darryl Kennedy with one count of second-degree assault. His bail was set at $100,000. Kennedy allegedly loaned Collins the bat.
