SD Man Charged With Attempted Murder Of Law Officer

A Britton man is being held on several charges, including two counts of Attempted Murder of a Law Enforcement Officer.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jacob James Stark was considered armed and dangerous before he was arrested around 7 a.m. Sunday. Deuel County law enforcement officers were given information Stark had left the scene of an alleged assault in Gary around midnight.
Stark is being held in the Codington County Detention Center. In addition to the attempted murder charge, Stark is also charge with DUI, Possession of a Firearm while Intoxicated and Simple Assault.
Bond is set at $500,000 on each count of attempted murder.
