More Iowa Bars Accused Of Violating Smoking Ban
April 13, 2009, 6:41 PM
Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller says he's taking action against three more bars for violating the state's indoor smoking ban.
Miller announced Monday he has filed liquor license actions against Cocktails in Arnold Park, Doris' Tavern in Burlington and Trucker Bar in Waterloo. That brings the total complaints filed by the attorney general's office to 41.
Last week, the Alcoholic Beverages Division revoked the liquor license of a bar in West Burlington and suspended the license of a Wilton bar.
The complaint will be referred to an administrative law judge. Iowa's indoor smoking ban was implemented last July.
