SF School District To Cut $585,000 From Budget
April 9, 2009, 11:09 AM
The Sioux Falls School District is making changes to save money.
Middle schoolers may start school 15 minutes later next year. The district says that could save $260,000 in transportation costs. Fewer busses would be out because drivers could handle both the elementary and middle school routes.
In all, the Sioux Falls district is trying to cut more than a half-million dollars from its budget.
