State Preps For Primary On Tuesday
June 2, 2008, 7:19 AM
South Dakota's last-in-the-nation primary election, shared with Montana, is tomorrow. Voters may go to the polls from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM local time tomorrow.
More than one-half million South Dakotans are registered to vote, but far fewer will actually vote.
The highest turnout is expected for voters who get Democratic ballots, primarily because of the much-publicized race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have campaigned hard in South Dakota.
Although tomorrow is Election Day, people still may vote early by going to county auditor's offices today and casting absentee ballots.
