Clinton To Visit South Dakota Thursday

May 7, 2008, 5:09 PM by Katie Janssen

Clinton To Visit South Dakota Thursday
For the first time since announcing her candidacy for president, Hillary Clinton will campaign in South Dakota Thursday.

She's holding a rally in Sioux Falls, to gain more support before the June 3rd primary.

The Clinton camp calls it a "Solutions for America" rally, and it's being held at Landmark Aviation just north of the Sioux Falls Regional Airport, in Hanger 1, or the main building. You might remember Landmark Aviation under its former names, Business Aviation or Encore.

Organizers are expecting between 300 and 500 people to attend. The rally is free and open to the public; you don't need a ticket or a pass to get in, but there will be security checkpoints set up.

Doors open at 12:15 p.m. Central Time and Mrs. Clinton will take the stage at 2:15 p.m.

Landmark Aviation says attendees can park on the street, along either Aviation Avenue or Hanger Street. There will be officials from the city and the police department directing traffic, and the only way to access this area is to use Minnesota Avenue.
