No License: A Revolving Door

February 28, 2008, 11:55 AM by Kelli Grant

No License: A Revolving Door
Most people wouldn't think of driving a car without a driver’s license, but not everyone feels that way.

In Wednesday night's Eye on KELOLAND, we followed two women who pleaded guilty to driving without a license. Both left court and got right back behind the wheel.

When KELOLAND's Lou Raguse confronted them, one woman decided to call for a ride, the other did not.

We contacted a couple of judges today. One acknowledged that this happens all the time but didn't want to comment further on the problem.

Minnehaha County State's Attorney Dave Nelson says these driving offenses are not being taken seriously.
We'll sit down with him to talk about his concerns later today on KELOLAND.com and News.
