Obama Outlines Financial Agenda

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is outlining an "American Dream Agenda" to help the middle class and stop the growing income inequity in the country.
The Illinois senator, who's in the Quad Cities today, wants to overhaul the nation's bankruptcy laws. He's also offering tax breaks of up to $4,000 a year to make college more affordable.
Obama says he'd reverse recent changes in the bankruptcy laws that he says favors credit card companies over consumers, giving new protections for those who go into debt for medical expenses.
He also says ending income inequity is tied to expanding higher education. He says that's the "best investment we can make in our future."
