According to South Dakota's latest motor vehicle traffic report
, more than 190 people were killed in auto accidents in 2006. Forty percent of those were alcohol related and 20 percent involved people under the age of 20. The deaths of 13 teens in one year took a toll on many communities. Now area school administrators and law enforcement are teaming up to combat the underage drinking problem.
On this week's edition of Inside KELOLAND, meet three members of the Drug and Alcohol Free Communities Coalition. We'll talk about the underage drinking problem and offer important advice on how to address your teens on the dangers of substance abuse.
