Inside KELOLAND: "Into the Wild" & Family Day

Moviegoers across the U-S can see a part of South Dakota on the big screen. "Into the Wild" is based on a best-selling book that tells the story of a wanderer, who's travels brought him to several state's, including South Dakota. But it isn't the first movie to be shot in the state. There is a Film Office that is part of the Tourism Department that promotes South Dakota as a location for making movies. Communication is key to connecting with your children, but when everyone in the family is going in a different direction, it can be hard to do. It's why on Monday, September 24th, families across the country are being encouraged to sit down for dinner together. For more on Family Day, click here.
