Damage assessment teams are spread out across eastern South Dakota. It's been a difficult week for people in that area. Several inches of rain mixed with more than twenty tornadoes created quite a mess. The city of Aberdeen took quite a hit. More than 9 inches of rain over two days caused widespread flooding. Seventy-five percent of the city's streets and homes had up to four feet of flood water. A week later, the water is out of the streets but the clean-up continues. On Friday, some homes in Aberdeen had to be condemned. For more on the aftermath of the storms, check out these websites.
