Sioux Falls Leaf Drop Sites
September 28, 2006, 7:25 AM
As the temperature begins to drop so do the leaves. The city of Sioux Falls is organizing two drop off sites to collect them.
The new site is North of Morrell’s off Cliff Avenue near the hazardous waste drop-off on Chambers. The other is where it's been for years on North Lyons Boulevard, just west of the fairgrounds.
You can drop off leaves only from October seventh until November 26th. The sites will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and on Sunday from noon until 5:00 PM.
The cost is 50 cents per bag, one dollar per carload, and $2.00 for full size SUV's, vans or two wheel trailers.
Tree limbs, brush and other garbage are not accepted.
