Sunday Is Last Day Of McGovern Estate Sale

More fans and supporters of three-time presidential hopeful and former U.S. Sen. George McGovern are expected to turn out Sunday for the last day of his estate sale.

McGovern died in Sioux Falls in October. He was 90.

His family is selling his personal items that they decided not to keep during a two-day estate sale. The sale started Saturday at his home in Sioux Falls and continues Sunday.

Items up for sale include books he read and wrote, personal notes, furniture, art and rugs.

The estate sale runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at his home, located at 2615 S. Ridgeview Way.
