Crews Remove Burned Wires From Under Pavement
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

You can tell the underground fire that caused power outages in downtown Sioux Falls was large and very hot.

Crews pulled burned lumps of wires from under the pavement at 9th Street and Phillips Avenue all day Friday afternoon.

And working in these tunnels is a dirty job. Many crewmen were covered in soot as they climbed out of the manhole after going underground. And as the night wears on, it's a cold job as well.
