Donations Help Sioux Empire United Way Surpass Goal

Donations Help Sioux Empire United Way Surpass Goal
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Sioux Empire United Way is celebrating the community's generosity.

Not only has the group reached its goal, but it passed it.

In the last year, the United Way has collected $9.8 million.  And all of the money will benefit the community.

It will be given to local organizations that help families and children in need.

"The Sioux Empire is outstanding. They understand the importance of what the United Way does and they understand the importance that we meet," United Way Department Operations Manager David Long said.

The work's not done just yet.

The Sioux Empire United Way is now in the process of making a new goal for next year.
