Police Name Victim In Deadly Sioux Falls Crash

Police say a 26-year-old Sioux Falls man died after crashing a car into a tree.

Chaske Manzelle Warner was driving a 2005 Mercury Montego north on South Holly Avenue around 10 p.m. Thursday when he went through a T-intersection at West Oak Street and hit a tree.  Witnesses believe he was going 60 miles per hour at the time of the crash.

Two of the four passengers had life-threatening injuries.  One person is now in serious condition and there's been no change on the other's condition.

Earlier on Friday, police said both speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.  They also don't believe anyone in the car was wearing their seatbelt.

Investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened in the crash.
