An Eagle Butte man accused of punching a federal officer in the face and giving him a concussion has been sentenced in federal court.
Twenty-four-year-old Matthew Dupris was sentenced to 13 months behind bars and two years of supervised release.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Dupris was accused of assaulting the officer in March 2012 after being detained on suspicion of drunken driving.
