Inmate Found In Sioux Falls
Charles Beeney

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

An inmate who escaped from the Beadle County jail is back in custody after being found in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls police say that officers followed up on at least two tip calls about Charles Beeney Tuesday afternoon.  Around 6:40 p.m., deputies from the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office found a vehicle Beeney was believed to be in near East 15th Street and South Charlotte Avenue.  They were able to take him into custody.

Beeney walked out of the Beadle County jail around 12:30 in the morning after threatening to shoot corrections officers if they didn't let him go.
