Sioux Falls Art Show Brings Out The Blues

January 5, 2013, 5:34 PM

Sioux Falls Art Show Brings Out The Blues
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Some Sioux Falls artists want you to cheer up from your winter blues with their inspiring works of art.

The January Blues Art Show at the Eastbank Art Gallery in Sioux Falls is displaying art from regional artists with one thing in common: all of the art work is colored blue.

"Some of the artists used all blue in their paintings; some used a lot of blue. And it's amazing how many interpretations people came up with," artist Rodger Ellingson said.

The display features everything from painting to sculptures to kaleidoscopes.

The January Blues Art Show runs through the 26th of this month. The event is free to the public.
