New Executive Director For Sioux Falls Sports Authority
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Sioux Falls Sports Authority has named its new executive director.

Wesley Hall will replace Mike Sullivan.  Hall comes to Sioux Falls from Iowa, where he served as the assistant director for the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI), an annual seven-day bicycle ride across the state.

"Wesley's proven track record in the field of sport management will be an invaluable asset to this community," board chairman of the Sioux Falls Sports Authority Kevin Lampe said in a statement.

The Sioux Falls Sports Authority was formed in 2006 to recruit major sporting events to the area.  It has brought international, national, regional and state sporting events to the city.

Sullivan joined the organization in 2008 and retired in December 2012.
