New Website Tracks Crime In Neighborhoods

New Website Tracks Crime In Neighborhoods
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Sioux Falls residents can now get a better look at what crimes police are responding to in their neighborhoods.

The Sioux Falls Police Department unveiled a new Crime Reports website.  It allows you to search for your address and zoom into your neighborhood or any area of the city to see which crimes police are investigating.

It's also hooked into the state's sex offender registry so you can see which sex offenders are living in your area.

An option to sign up for email alerts keeps you on top of what is happening near your family and you can help report and solve crimes by clicking on the link to submit a tip about a crime.

An iPhone app also allows you to check on things while you're away from home.
