Police On Scene Of Standoff In Vermillion
VERMILLION, SD -

Authorities are still on the scene of a standoff in Vermillion. It's the second one in less than 24 hours.

The standoff is at a house on South Crawford Road. That road and Main Street were blocked off earlier Tuesday. But, they opened up around 2 p.m.

Police say a suspect barricaded himself inside his home. They've been on the scene since 1 a.m. Tuesday.

There's a press conference planned for 3 p.m. in Vermillion. We'll have more information following that conference.
