It’s a cold start to your Christmas Day with temperatures below zero in much of KELOLAND. At least winds are light this morning and light winds will continue through the day. Highs will only make the single digits above zero this afternoon. Light snow showers are possible today in south central and western South Dakota. Anything that falls will generally stay less than an inch, but isolated areas in western South Dakota have a chance at a little more.
Another round of snow moves in Thursday afternoon into Friday morning. This one has a better chance at dumping one to three inches worth of snow from south central South Dakota to western Minnesota and south.
Temperatures will remain cold with highs in the teens and twenties starting tomorrow and lasting through the weekend.
Once again, Merry Christmas!
