Extra Officers Out And About During Latest Saturation Patrol

Extra Officers Out And About During Latest Saturation Patrol
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Extra officers were out and about patrolling Sioux Falls streets in the city's latest saturation patrol.

They weren't just enforcing left turns, they were also keeping an eye out for speeders, impaired drivers, or anything that could cause you harm.

With today's rainy weather authorities tell us they haven't seen many accidents due to the slick roads, but have been making good on their promise to ticket.

"Traffic stops have been steady, primarily for speeding violations for those that I've heard of and those I have made," said Officer Bret Hamlyn.

The Saturation Patrol started early Saturday morning around eight and ended just after four p-m.
