The University of Sioux Falls caught fire scoring a season-high 46 points in the second half to top Concordia University-St. Paul, 77-68, Saturday night in the first ever men’s basketball Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game at the Stewart Center. Senior forward David Maxwell led the Cougars in scoring with a season-high 19 points, including 14 in the final period. Classmate, A.J. Holland, added 17 points for USF hitting 4-of-6 attempts from behind the arc. The win marks the Cougars’ first NSIC win of the year and extended their home win streak to 20 straight.
USF hosts Minnesota State University, Mankato Saturday, December 15 at the Stewart Center. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
