Noem Appointed To Armed Services Committee
Rep. Kristi Noem

South Dakota US Representative Kristi Noem will serve on the House Armed Services Committee in the 113th Congress in addition to her service on the House Agriculture Committee.

The Armed Services oversees defense policy, military operations, the Department of Defense and other areas.

"From Ellsworth Air Force Base to our National Guard Units, South Dakota plays an integral role in protecting our nation. At a time when our country must prioritize its spending, I will continue to be a strong voice for our military and fight to ensure our men and women have the resources they need at home and abroad," Noem said in a statement.
