Storm Center Update - Monday PM

December 10, 2012, 2:50 PM by Scot Mundt

Cold air will slowly move east over the next couple of days, with highs eventually returning to average by Wednesday.  In the meantime, lows tonight will not be as cold as yesterday morning.  Many locations will eventually fall to the single digits and teens in central and eastern KELOLAND.  Western South Dakota will most likely fall to the low twenties.

Tuesday will be a little warmer with highs in the twenties for central and eastern South Dakota; the west will warm to the thirties.  This warming trend will continue into Wednesday with highs in the thirties in the central and east to the forties in the west.

Many locations with snow pack will stay in the twenties and thirties for the rest of the week and into the weekend.  There is a storm system both the American and European models are picking up on for Saturday. This one will mainly impact southeast KELOLAND, so there’s a slight chance for snow on Saturday.
