'Fill The Truck' Includes Appearance By Fmr. NFL Player
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A former NFL player will help the Salvation Army with a toy drive in Sioux Falls on Saturday.

Adam Timmerman is taking part in the "Fill the Truck" event at the Wal-Mart on South Louise Avenue.

The event is open to the public; organizers are collecting new toys and coats for kids.  Shoppers going into Wal-Mart will receive a list of suggested gifts to purchase to put into the truck.  Once the truck is full, the Salvation Army will take the donations to the First United Methodist Church to distribute to more than 2,000 children in need.

The truck will be at the store starting at 9 a.m.  Timmerman will be on hand from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.  The event is scheduled to go until 3 p.m.
