Sioux Falls Issues More Than $414M In Building Permits

A national building boom is having an impact in South Dakota's largest city.

A new report released on Tuesday said construction spending grew by the largest amount in five months.

Local numbers are even more impressive.  The city of Sioux Falls has issued more than $414 million in building permits this year.  That's $142 million more than at this time last year.  And it's the highest amount the city's seen since 2008.
