THIS IS A COPY OF AN EMAIL I SEND OUT TO JAY, BRIAN, AND BEN. JUST SOME THOUGHTS ON WHAT THE FORECAST MODELS ARE DOING. IT MAY OR MAY NOT REFLECT THE FINAL FORECAST. BE SURE TO VISIT OUR WEATHER PAGE FOR UPDATES. –SCOT MUNDT
Fog will eventually develop tonight for much of eastern KELOLAND with lows falling to the teens and 20s. It always depends on how long the fog sticks around as to how warm we’ll get tomorrow.
The weekend will be dry and mild. We’ll have to watch the record books with highs in the 50s and 60s.
A cold front will move through on Monday with cooler air for the west, central, and northeast. I wouldn’t be surprised for areas in the southeast to get to the low 60 due to compressional warming. It all depends on the timing of the front. Warmer weather quickly returns Wednesday.
GFS is trying to develop a rain/snow chance on December 7 (next Friday), but I’m not ready to bite as the EURO is keeping things dry and warm.
