One Person In Custody In Deadly Marty Shooting
MARTY, SD -

Federal, state and local authorities are investigating a deadly shooting on the Yankton Sioux Indian Reservation that also injured a second person.

FBI spokesman Kyle Loven says the shooting happened Monday night at a home in Marty. Loven adds that the second victim has suffered critical injuries.

The US Attorney's office tells KELOLAND News they have one man in custody in connection with the homicide investigation.  That person was arrested Tuesday morning but their name and charges have not been released.

Loven says there is no threat to the public. He has released no other details and says the investigation is ongoing.

The FBI is working with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and the Yankton Sioux Tribe on the case.
