Black Friday Shoppers Start To Set Up Camp

November 21, 2012, 5:33 PM by Sammi Bjelland

Black Friday Shoppers Start To Set Up Camp

The very dedicated Black Friday shoppers are already coming out in full force.

People started lining up outside of the Best Buy at the Western Mall at 1:00 Wednesday afternoon.

The first three tents set up belong to one family, who are taking turns holding down the small tent city. The first man in line says it's wise to get there early to avoid confrontations with other shoppers.

"If you're early and you know that you're early and everybody else sees you here, they're not going to mess with you. They leave you alone. The first 20 people, 30 people pretty much got it made," David Havermann said.

One of the big deals that brought out these Black Friday campers is the 40-inch LCD TV for $179.  Havermann also said the weather and improving economy were also factors in deciding to camp out early.
