The annual Parade of Lights in Sioux Falls kicks off the holiday season downtown on Friday.
It starts at 7:30 p.m. with lighted-holiday floats and music at 14th Street and Phillips Avenue. The floats will go along Phillips Avenue until end of the parade route at 5th Street.
Craig and Pat Lloyd are the Grand Marshals and will lead the 21st annual parade. The couple is being recognized for their contributions to countless development projects in downtown.
Following the parade, an award ceremony will be held in the Falls Room at the Holiday Inn City Centre.
And you can park in one of the city’s many parking ramps for free after 6 p.m. Friday.
