Hundreds Show Support For Sioux Falls Woman

November 17, 2012, 8:18 PM by Sarah Bryant

SIOUX FALLS -

Hundreds of people filled East Side Lutheran Church Saturday morning to support a woman fighting cancer.

Pam Mathison was diagnosed with colon cancer and her family and friends are helping her fight back with Pam's Love Benefit.

Whether it was enjoying breakfast, bidding on silent auction items or getting their face painted many showed their support for Mathison.

And Pam couldn't be more grateful for the turnout.

"I was speechless. I guess I hadn't anticipated that many people so early in the morning. Just, like I said, I'm grateful that there's so many people out there to help me through this," Mathison said.

Sunday she'll start round 51 of her chemo treatments. And if you missed the benefit on Saturday, you can stop by any Wells Fargo Bank and donate to Pam Mathison's Love Benefit.
