It was a gorgeous start to the weekend with blustery winds and plenty of November warmth. There are no major changes to the forecast for the next few days. We remain mostly dry, as well.
This evening we expect skies to clear out somewhat before midnight. Winds in the east will still be breezy at times, though, so most will be close to 30 by tomorrow morning. The next little system is coming in tomorrow. That will deliver a few more daytime clouds but still more warmth from south winds.
On Monday the sunshine returns in most places except Sioux Falls. Light rain shows up on at least three computer models in NW Iowa early on Monday. It looks like most of that will be just to our east. We will be just a touch cooler but still well above the average high. We then warm up through Wednesday. By then, some energy coming off of the Pacific will move closer to KELOLAND. A cold front will move in right around Thanksgiving but this should not be a big issue for most. Travel plans across the region still look good. Most of the moisture stays in North Dakota though cold air aloft will bring thickening clouds into next weekend.
