Storm Center Update - Saturday AM

Clouds, wind and warmth are the big weather stories heading into your weekend.  We had the lightest sprinkles in north-central South Dakota early this morning, but most was unable to make it down all the way to the ground.  The clouds are heading northeast since winds aloft are out of the southwest.  We’ll see those clouds gradually over-spread the KELOLAND region later this afternoon.  A few stray sprinkles could drop in the far NE areas late this morning into the early afternoon.  Winds will be gusting to near 30 mph in our eastern counties.  This wind is associated with the weak disturbance bringing in the clouds. 
The breeze will fade just slightly tonight.  But with clouds sticking around we still be fairly mild.  Lows will be in the lower 30s. 
Clearer skies will move in West River tomorrow.  Highs will respond, with 66 in Rapid City!  This is way above average, partially from a lack of normal snowfall.  Elsewhere, highs remain in the 50s.
Plenty of sunshine returns for the early part of next week.  A cold front will emerge just after Thanksgiving.  The holiday itself looks great.  That next system still looks strapped for moisture but a lot can change.
