THIS IS A COPY OF AN EMAIL I SEND OUT TO JAY, BRIAN, AND BEN. JUST SOME THOUGHTS ON WHAT THE FORECAST MODELS ARE DOING. IT MAY OR MAY NOT REFLECT THE FINAL FORECAST. BE SURE TO VISIT OUR WEATHER PAGE FOR UPDATES. –SCOT MUNDT
Weak front tonight will cool us for tomorrow. Wave still drops through KELOLAND this weekend but the QPF is scarce, so kicked out pop for FSD but kept the 20% in for ABR.
Nothing moves through for next week, but the EURO and GFS still have a possible storm for NEXT weekend or early NEXT week (somewhere around November 10-12). EURO is faster with the low in eastern NE on the 10th. GFS has the low in NW CO at that time with it moving through KS on Sunday evening. Both models are advertising trough in western United States, so hopefully we’ll get moisture wrapped in from the Gulf. Couldn’t find any extended CAN data today.
