Hundreds of people came out to help with hand-on projects like packing meals for kids and making care kits for veterans.
"I am so pleased with the turn out. We have hundreds of people here because they want to make a difference. They want to help our community. So, it's wonderful," Helpline Center Executive Director Janet Kittams-Lalley said.
If you missed the events, organizers say there are always ways you can volunteer.
All you need to do is dial 2-1-1 and the helpline will get you connected with different volunteer opportunities.
