Police Release More Bank Robbery Details

Police Release More Bank Robbery Details
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Sioux Falls police are working with the FBI to track down a bank robber.

They say a man got in line at the Wells Fargo bank inside the Lewis Store at 41st and Minnesota just before 7 p.m. Monday.

A clerk noticed him because he seemed unusually anxious as he waited.  When he got to the counter, he had one hand in his pocket and demanded cash.

Authorities say the suspect was a white man who appears to be in his 30's with a short beard and full face.  He's around 6 feet tall and weighs about 215 pounds.  He had a scratchy voice and was wearing a dark stocking cap that covered the tops of his eyes.

Police say he may have been driving an older, blue Pontiac Grand Am.

Anyone with information should call police or Crime Stoppers at 367-7007.
